A little of me

When I found myself in high school eating my lunch every day in the art studio, I knew I wouldn't be happy in a career that wasn't creative. Discovering the field of graphic design early in life, I was able to direct my energy and talents into growing those skills in the Adobe Creative Suite. I believe that journey has led to my quick growth in my skills and a successful career today.

Experience

With 7 years of experience at a place like The Walt Disney Company, my skills have been put to the test in every creative area possible. In my professional career I have not only grown in my technical design skills and team working practices, but also became proficient in video editing via Premiere Pro and After Effects.

I've worked on numerous marketing campaigns and have been on set to art direct photoshoots, b-roll shoots, & AD spots. Working in Corporate Alliances allowed me to work with over 75 different large scale companies across the globe, aiming to make their Disney dreams come true while adhering to that company's own brand standards and partnership goals. Flexibility and creativity have gone hand-in-hand in my professional career. I strive to always be learning something new, as every challenging experience I've faced has fostered growth in me and in my work!

Skills

My skills include proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. I also have experience with packaging, web, mobile app design, creative brainstorming, motion graphics, environmental graphics, photography, and film.

Hobbies

In my personal life, I am constantly chasing other art forms. I just started the art of making stained glass and I am loving learning and growing in that process (@sterlingsglass on Instagram). Some of my other fixations are interior decor, collecting antiques, glass etching, drawing in Procreate, embroidery, & miniatures. I've showcased below some of my personal drawings done in Procreate. My two cats Figaro & Cleo love watching me work, and our favorite thing to do together is binge tv shows and movies.
